Botox®

How it’s done

Botox® cosmetic therapy is a fast, non-surgical smoothing treatment for persistent, deep wrinkles and lines. A small amount of botulinum toxin is injected precisely into several areas on the face to relax the muscles that cause wrinkles and lines. To ensure patient’s comfort, local anaesthesia is administered, which lasts about 30 minutes – more or less the length of the visit to the specialist. Full effects are visible after a few days and persist for about 6 months. After this period, the injected substance is naturally absorbed by the body.
Botox® is a low-invasive procedure. It does not require recovery and is therefore referred to as a ‘lunch break’ procedure. Once you have left the clinic, you can immediately return to your daily activities.

Botox® is associated with the term ‘mask effect,’ which is an indication of undesirable effects of the inadequate use of this substance. At Mandala Beauty Clinic we work with each patient individually to identify problematic areas without having to block the entire face, thus achieving the most natural effect of the therapy. Our specialists not only have the appropriate qualifications, but also years of experience.

It is important that the procedure is performed by an experienced licensed specialist which guarantees a safe and desired aesthetic result. Remember that Botox® treatment cannot be performed by beauticians because they do not have the proper medical training!
