Breast reduction

How it’s done

The breast reduction procedure involves the removal of excess breast tissue and the shaping of the breast to a smaller size. Patients must be aware that post-surgery breastfeeding may not be possible due to the alteration or removal of mammary glands. Hence, this procedure is recommended for women who do not plan to get pregnant.

As a result of the procedure, scarring occurs. However, we make every effort to be able to hide them under the underwear or regular clothes. In recent times, scars have been successfully treated with laser. The breast reduction procedure is performed under general anaesthesia and lasts up to 2 hours. Most patients can return to work two weeks after surgery. Recovery progresses gradually, and the final effects of the treatment are visible after six months (up to one year).

Breast lift

How it’s done

The purpose of a breast lift is to restore their naturally rounded shape. During the procedure, the areola and nipple are moved to achieve a better projection and more youthful appearance. Lifting can be combined with augmentation (the criterion is a small cup and nipples at the level of or below the breast fold). Implants are often helpful in breast modelling, providing roundness in the upper part, even if they do not augment them. Another method is autotransplantation of adipose tissue using Vaser Lipo which uses the patient’s own material.

During the procedure itself, you can also improve the appearance of the nipple and areola by reducing them. Read about our patient Maria who underwent a breast lift surgery with an implant and breast modelling, along with the complex treatment of the areola and nipple.

A breast lift can be performed in many different ways. Some women only require an incision around the nipple or the areola, while others require a lollipop-shaped incision around the nipple and a vertical one from the nipple down. Still, other patients require an anchor-like incision. We approach our patients individually, helping them to decide which lift best suits their expectations. We do not use one universal method. We understand that each body is different, and each patient has her own aesthetic goals. Regardless of the required incision, the lift procedure is performed so that the scar can be hidden under the bra or bathing suit.

Patients usually return to work after one to two weeks from surgery, and recovery progresses gradually and lasts about 3 months. For the first 2 weeks after surgery you need to wear a special bra. After about 20 days stitches are removed. The breast lift is a surgical procedure, so after the surgery there is swelling and pain that is eliminated by medicines administered under the supervision of the doctor. Lasting effects can be seen 3 months after the procedure.

Timeline
– the procedure takes about 120 minutes
– return to work after about 2 weeks
– removal of the stitches after about 20 days
– lasting effects seen after 3 months

Breast augmentation – autotransplantation of fat tissue

HOW IT’S DONE

Vaser Lipo Hi Definition 3 & 4D is an innovative method that allows you to take fat tissue from selected parts of the body as well as to model your body, including breast augmentation.

Breast augmentation using Vaser Lipo is less invasive and therefore does not require such a long convalescence as in the case of an implant surgery. The results are very natural, and the size of augmentation depends on the individual patient’s predisposition. It is determined during a consultation with our doctor. Furthermore, an excess adipose tissue is frozen and can be used for subsequent injection in case of additional augmentation.

Breast augmentation (implants)

How it’s done

Currently, we have two methods of breast augmentation: through a placement of implants (above or below the muscle) and by fat transfer, i.e. injection of the patient’s fat tissue taken from another part of the body (Vaser Lipo). The former method is still the most popular and it’s been the most frequently performed plastic surgery procedure in the world for many years. The decision on the placement of the implant, the type of implant (filler, brand), the shape (so-called profile) and incision options (along with the areolar edge, the fold under the breast and in the armpit) is made in consultation with your plastic surgeon. At Mandala Beauty Clinic we make every effort to meet the expectations of the patient from the interview stage all the way through to the best solutions to suit individual needs. The purpose of breast augmentation may be to correct the shape, resize or correct asymmetry – in each case the most important factor is the satisfaction of the patient by achieving an aesthetic, proportional figure. We will, therefore, advise you on which size and shape will work best for your particular figure so that the result looks natural, rather than overdone or artificial.

Traditional insertion of implants is the most popular, but not the only method of breast augmentation. Another method is the use of a natural substance which is your own fat tissue taken from other parts of your body. Take a look at the innovative Vaser Hi Definition Liposculpture 3&4D.
