VASER Lipo Hi Definition 3&4D

How it’s done

VASER Lipo Hi Definition 3 & 4D is a body sculpting method based on ultrasound, targeted precisely at adipose tissue. The energy is delicate enough not to damage nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue. This speeds up recovery time and healing processes. With the use of thin cannulas, we have the ability to model the area of the abdomen, chest, back, buttocks, but also such sensitive areas as the face, chin and shoulders. The possibilities are vast and the results are spectacular.

An additional and extremely valuable benefit of the VASER Lipo method is the effect of shrinkage and skin firming impossible to achieve with traditional liposuction methods. It is the use of ultrasound technology that allows us to obtain this result.
Body contouring with the Vaser Lipo method gives not only the possibility to suction out excess fat, it is also a technology that allows for the use of the suctioned-out fat for body modelling in areas that need more adipose tissue, such as the face, breasts or buttocks. Autograft can be performed during the same liposuction procedure or delayed (fat tissue may be frozen).

Brazilian butt lift
 (auto-transplantation of fat tissue)

There are two methods used in buttock augmentation: apart from implants we also offer adipose tissue transplantation ATT, also referred to as Brazilian butt lift. The procedure uses ultrasonic waves (the Vaser Lipo method), which enables safe removal of adipose tissue from the selected part of your body (arms, thighs, abdomen…) where there is an excess of it. It is then used to model the buttocks to give them the desired shape. Auto-transplantation of adipose tissue is currently the most commonly used solution if there are no serious contraindications. Implants are usually used when there is no part of the body to get adipose tissue from.

The procedure takes about 120 minutes and requires general anaesthesia. The patient returns to daily activities after about 14 days.

It should be noted that Dr Samir Ibrahim has been working for many years in the Persian Gulf, where buttocks augmentation surgery is chosen by 98% of female patients using an adipose tissue modelling procedure. Dr. Samir Ibrahim is the precursor of the Vaser Lipo method in Poland and now also a certified coach. See the BEFORE/AFTER photo gallery.

Thigh & calves lift

How it’s done

The first possibility – if your skin is firm and tense – is liposuction, which is the removal of excess fat. In our clinic, we offer Vaser Lipo, a method using ultrasound, which precisely breaks down fat tissue and removes it without damaging the adjacent tissues. The undeniable advantages of this method are efficiency, low invasiveness, and thus quick return to everyday activities. The removed adipose tissue can also be used to model other parts of the body as a natural filler. However, if the stretched skin needs to be removed, then an additional skin lift is carried out, i.e. removal of excess skin. The resulting wound is stitched with soluble stitches. To reduce swelling, a flexible bandage is applied for two to four weeks.

Recovery time depends on the type of procedure performed. For a few days, you should avoid walking up stairs, squatting and aerobics. A medical check-up takes place on the second or third day after surgery. Right after the procedure, the thighs may feel stiff and swollen. This feeling gradually fades away. Most of the swelling goes down after six weeks. Persons who work ‘behind the desk’ can return to their work within a week. For three to six weeks you should avoid activities that require lifting weights of more than 5 kilograms, long standing or walking. Scars begin to disappear two or three months after surgery. After one to two years, they decrease considerably, but they never disappear completely. Modern methods of laser scar removal can, however, help to eliminate this problem.

Liposuction

LIPOSUCTION TECHNIQUES

In case of liposuction, there are many techniques. During the consultation, we will discuss options and help you understand the terminology. Also, we’ll discuss the pros and cons of each option to help you make an informed decision. At Mandala Beauty Clinic we have been using VASER Lipo method for many years.

Liposuction is usually combined with other treatments such as abdominoplasty or breast surgery. Sometimes patients experience minor increases in body fat that do not want to go away, regardless of the intensity of exercise and diet. Usually, performing an additional minor liposuction during another procedure is not a problem especially if the patient is under anaesthesia. Complex liposuction procedures are performed separately to minimize the risk during surgery. Safety is our priority.

RECOVERY AFTER LIPOSUCTION:

Swelling may persist for four to six weeks after surgery, and total recovery lasts approx. three months. We recommend lymphatic massage after liposuction. Lymphatic massage stimulates the lymphatic circulation to rapidly remove fluid, proteins and toxins from cells and direct them back to the bloodstream. The end result is a reduction of bruises and oedema, and faster recovery after liposuction. An absence of sensation in the area treated with liposuction is natural. It is temporary, however, return to a normal state may take a year. In this case, we urge patients to exercise right after surgery. At Mandala, we use the minimally invasive VASER Lipo method so the incisions are minute (needed only to insert a cannula) and heal quickly. Bruises are a natural and temporary symptom.

We advise patients to wear a flexible bandage (a type of a corset worn under their garment) for 6 weeks. This minimizes swelling and prevents deformation of the modelled area.

We often get the question: is it possible that after liposuction you see a visible weight gain in the untreated areas? The answer to this question is usually negative. However, some patients experience less weight gain in liposuction areas. Therefore, if they gain weight at all it is visible in other areas of the body first. We always emphasize that in order to avoid this situation, after liposuction try to maintain your weight.

Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)

How it’s done

During abdominoplasty, unnecessary parts of the skin and excess fat are removed and abdominal muscles are strengthened. The incision is done in the lower abdomen, in the pubic area so that the scar can be hidden under lingerie or a bathing suit. In the case of the people who experience muscle relaxation and have minimal excess skin, mini abdominoplasty, i.e. lower tummy plastic surgery may suffice. The advantage of this procedure is a shorter scar after surgery, which is very positive for many patients.

Full abdominoplasty lasts from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the extent of the surgery and whether liposuction is necessary. After the incision, the abdominal skin above the navel is raised and the navel itself separated from the skin. Later, the navel is repositioned through a new incision in the skin. The abdominal muscles are tightened to give a slimming effect. Excess skin and fat are removed and the incision is sewn up. The abdominal wall is relieved with a flexible compression bandage that also reduces postoperative swelling.

During recovery, keep the bent position in the waist and knees, providing comfort and minimizing tension on the stitches. Patients are advised to walk as it speeds up recovery. The abdomen will seem tense for several weeks after surgery. Loss of sensation in some areas is a normal phenomenon, and in the case of some people, it may be permanent. The scar starts to disappear after two or three months. It takes on the final appearance after one to two years. 75 percent of the swelling disappears within six weeks, the remaining swelling disappears after six months. Return to work takes place after approx. 10-14 days.

Recovery:

  • 1-2 days after the surgery the patient stays in the clinic
  • 7 days after the operation, drainage is usually removed
  • 14 days after surgery the stitches are removed
  • 10-14 days back to work
  • 6-7 weeks – swelling goes away
  • 6-8 weeks – you should avoid lifting weights, aerobics, strenuous exercise
  • 8-12 weeks – the scar begins to disappear, final appearance after 2 years

Arms lift – Brachioplasty

How it’s done

Arm lift surgery (also referred to as brachioplasty) involves the removal of excess skin from parts of the arms. The incisions are located on the inside, above the elbow, to be as little visible as possible. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia and is often combined with extraction of excess fat, for example by ultrasound.

The method uses ultrasound to accurately break up the fat for easy removal. Thanks to the extreme accuracy of targeting the ultrasound jet at selected areas, Vaser Lipo is characterized by low invasiveness. Thus, recovery is faster and more comfortable for the patient than after traditional liposuction. The procedure lasts two to three hours.

Recovery

  • 2-3 days after surgery – removal of bandages and drains
  • first weeks – possible swelling
  • approx. one week after surgery – patients usually return to work
  • for approx. 4 weeks we recommend a compression band to prevent oedema
  • first 6 weeks after surgery – avoid lifting weights over 6 kg
  • after 2-3 months the scars begin to fade (the final appearance is achieved after 1-2 years)
  • watch out for scars and the sun – avoid sun rays and use creams with a minimum of 15 UV filter for the time of their healing
